Team 842 2011 Chairman's Submission

I read the submission for the Chairman's award by team 842. I learned a couple of new things from it. I learned that there is an all female N.U.R.C. , this is a really awesome thing because it shows that our female team members are just as important as the males.

Today was the 3rd day of our Google Docs workshop. We had to make a presentation. Also Dillon Dayea ( Head Builder) taught me how to make 3-D models on the computer.

Today was the second day of our Google Docs workshop. We had learned a little bit more about Google and all of the tools and features you can use on it .

Today was a really good day. I helped Martin and Meraz smooth out a torpedo using a  machine called a lathe. They told me  I did a good job, and that I was the first rookie/freshman to use a lathe ,I felt like I was really contributing to the team, even though it wasn't really anything big. After the torpedo was done we got a chance to test the torpedo launcher in and out of water.

Today was my second day at robotics. It was a good day and i feel like i got a lot accomplished. I still getting to know everyone. I got to drive the robot around.
